REFUND POLICY

The IHBA is a membership organisation and all members pay an appropriate membership fee to join the organisation, which can be renewed annually following receipt of a renewal invitation. The level of fee paid depends on the level of membership required. The initial fee covers membership for a year from receipt of payment. The benefits of membership are clearly set out on the website at www.internationalhempbuilding.org/join .  We regret we are unable to offer refunds if membership is cancelled, for whatever reason, before the renewal date unless we receive notice of cancellation within 14 days of taking out membership. If, within 14 days of receipt of the subscription monies, you decide membership is not for you, we will refund your fee paid.

SYMPOSIUM EVENTS

All bookings are subject to the symposium Terms & Conditions.

i. The organizers reserve the right to alter or cancel, without prior notice, any of the arrangements, timetables or plans relating directly or indirectly to the symposium, for any cause beyond their reasonable control.

ii. The organizers are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused as a result of such alterations.

iii. Participants are advised to take out their own travel insurance and to extend their personal policy to cover personal possessions: the organizers do not cover individuals against cancellations of bookings or theft of belongings.

iv. In the event that the symposium is cancelled by the organizers, or cannot take place for any reason outside the control of the organizers, the registration fee shall be refunded in full. The liability of the organisers shall be limited to that refund and the organisers shall not be liable for any other loss, cost or expense, howsoever caused, incurred or arising.

v. The organizers will hold and process your personal details on their database. This information is necessary for the legitimate management of this symposium. We may also use these details to provide you with information of other conferences or events.

vi. Refund of the registration fee will not be made if a cancelation is made by the participant within the 21 days preceding the symposium.
