Monika Brümmer will be presenting at the 9th International Hemp Building Symposium
Hemp entry to the Africa Solar Decathlon 2019
Monika has been involved in Hemp Building for over 22 years having started her Cannabric business in Spain in 1999, developing her unique hemp-clay bricks. She has since 2014 been working in Morocco in the High Central Rif with local Berber peoples for the Adrah Nouh project, where the waste material from the Hashish production is being used to repair traditional stone houses and to build new ones. The cooperative worked on a design of a prototype hemp house for the Solar Decathlon Africa Competition held in Morocco in September 2019.
The IHBA symposiums are well known for their ground-breaking technological innovations presented from around the world while at the same time providing an ideal opportunity for networking in this growing sector. This is the largest global gathering of hemp building experts.
